A few weeks ago when I was getting off work, I got a call from my sister. She told me my Mom was in the hospital and that I should come out there to Chicago to be there with her. I told her I’d be there as soon as I can, and after I hung up the phone I realized a slight problem - I didn’t have the money to get from Tucson, Arizona all the way to Chicago, Illinois. I needed a solution, and I needed it fast. I had to be there for my own Mother, she would be there for me. Hell, she always was!

It was a fateful day. I never thought about it that you wake up one day and you have to worry that your kid might die. But he didn’t, I went to the Applebees on Wetmore in Tuscon with my husband and my twelve year old, Samuel. Samuel was clearly not feeling good. He had this look in his eyes. When you got there he fainted, just dropped straight down.

I had my husband pick Sam up and throw him in the car right away. It was an emergency. His face was turning white and I had no idea what was going on. They had to give him a shot for it to settle, just long enough for them to perform surgery.

This seemed totally necessary, but the insurance didn’t think so. They thought it wasn’t important. I needed money to pay the hospital. I needed a fast loan but I have bad credit.
